  • Brian jennings - Preaching and Leadership

    Brian and his wife, Beth, have four children. Brian came to Highland Park in 1998, and he now serves as Lead Minister. His main roles involve preaching, helping HP staff and leaders be their best, discipleship and outreach. He also is President of the Board of Trustees for Blackbox International, which provides holistic care for boys who are victims of sex trafficking. His book, Lead Your Family, equips parents to spiritually lead their families.

  • Dave Dunson - Pastoral care

    Dave came on staff at Highland Park in August of 1990 as our Senior Minister. In 2009 he transitioned into a new position as our Pastoral Care Minister. In this role Dave oversees our Ministry Teams, Stephen Ministry, PLACE Ministry, and GriefShare. He also teaches one of our Adult Bible Classes, is a Care Group Leader and currently serves as an Elder. Also, since 1992, Dave has served as a volunteer Chaplain with the Tulsa Police & Fire Departments.

    Dave and his wife, Rose Ann, have been married for 48 years. Rose Ann retired after 20 years in 2016 as our Children’s Ministry Director. She now actively works with Dave in the Pastoral Care Ministry. They have two married daughters and six grandchildren. 


  • José Heredia - worship arts

    José has served as the Worship Arts Minister since the fall of 2014. He is a graduate of Ozark Christian College where he met his wife, Samantha. He was born and raised in the city of Monterrey, Mexico and moved to Colorado at the age of 15.

    José loves soccer, golf and Mexican food.


  • Michelle warden - Children's ministry

    Michelle is the Children's Ministry Director at Highland Park. She is graduating from Ozark Christian College in the spring of 2017 with a Bachelor's of Children's Ministry. She was born and raised in Tulsa and grew up attending Highland Park Christian Church. 

    Michelle enjoys baking, reading, Gilmore Girls, and spending time with her husband, Dalton, and their daughter, Evelyn.


  • Matt Crosser - youth ministry

    Matt leads the HPyouth Student Ministry at Highland Park. He has been doing Youth Ministry since 1995. He is an alumni of Ozark Christian College. For ten years, Matt and his wife, Angie, were part of church planting mission work in Central and Northern Italy. Matt came on staff at Highland Park in December of 2012. He partners with parents and adult leaders in the spiritual development of students. Each week, he uses his artistic abilities to develop resources and curriculum for the HPyouth.

    Matt enjoys drawing, creating, watching TV, playing games with family (board and video) and reading about most anything.
