summary

The Jews had all the prophecies, but they were not looking in the right place for the Messiah. It was the Magi, men who learned from the prophet Daniel, who knew that Jesus, the Savior, was born in Bethlehem.

bottom line

We need to remember the reason for Christmas.

simple prayer

Dear God, 
Thank you for sending Jesus to be our Christmas gift. Help us to remember why Jesus came and to share the good news with others. 
In Jesus’ name, Amen
