Refresh giving campaign
“The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed” (Prov. 11:25).
The Bible promises that if we give, we will receive blessings and riches far greater than money can buy. We’ll be rich in joy, purpose, and love. We will be refreshed.
The Refresh Giving Campaign will take care of the biggest facility needs impacting our ministries. If you walk around our facility, you’ll say, “Wow, this could use some refreshing.” Yep. We have areas with 28-year old flooring. These areas serve kids, adults, Learning School, VBS, PECE, special events, office staff, and community.

The goals:
The Refresh Giving Campaign has three priorities. If the financial commitments exceed what we need for Priority 1, we’ll proceed to Priority 2, and so on.
Priority 1 – Resurfacing Flat Roof
The Elders approved to go ahead and proceed with resurfacing the flat roof (mostly over the Activity Center). If we don’t repair this now, rains could cause damage to everything under it. This priority also includes figuring out what to do with our problematic steeple structure and better lighting our stained glass window. We’re using our Savings Fund to pay for this. Priority 1 of the campaign is to reimburse this fund. Due to the instability in the insurance markets, our deductible is sky high. That means we need a fully funded Savings Fund.
Cost: $88,000
Priority 2: Refresh classrooms and Activity Center Stage
We need to replace the flooring of three children’s rooms, three upstairs rooms, and the Activity Center Stage. Some of these spaces will receive new carpet, and others will be replaced with plank flooring, making them suited for food, crafts, and flexibility. Some walls will also be painted.
Cost: $43,000
Priority 3: Office
We can refresh the entire office area with new, carpeted flooring and some cans of paint.
Cost: $15,000
