The data is conclusive: tech can be a blessing and a curse. So what can we do to wisely help kids navigate our high-tech world? Here’s what you can expect at our community event:
1. You’ll be encouraged. We want to express our appreciation and support for everyone caring for young people. If you would like someone to follow up with you or pray with you, we’re available.
2. Hear lighting-fast summaries of several of the most important books on this topic. We know you don’t have time to read everything, so we’re here to help. We’ll also share a compiled list of helpful books, podcast episodes, and resources.
3. Hear a few teachers share: “What I wish parents knew...”
4. Hear a few parents share: “What I wish school knew...”
5. Make connections with others who share your passion to help kids. These connections are essential for our communities to move forward.
Dinner, childcare and prize-drawings will be provided for all those who register by 2/25. Dinner is smoked chicken sandwiches, chips, and snacks. Kids will have pizza for dinner. Doors open at 6:15, please park in our main downstairs lot.
